The weather is improving and so are signals to our customers impacting by the suspected ice and snow build up. We expect the signals will continue to improve as the forecast shows higher temperatures throughout this week.

With the winter storm arriving Thursday we are planning wait to attempt to get to Mt Fanny tower site on Monday morning. The last two times we tried to go to this site (a week ago) our crew took all day for two days just breaking a trail in the heavy snow to the site and were still not able to reach the site. This means we do not know if we will get to the site Monday with the latest snow accumulation. We will try again on Tuesday if necessary to get to the site. Our overall plan for summer is to change our antennas to see if alternate antennas will collect less ice and snow. We know this is a very bad situation for our impacted customers. We are committed to working safely and quickly to restore service to full performance.

Unfortunately this issue has not improved as we hoped today. With the winter storm warning forecast it is going to be much more difficult to determine exactly when we can get to Mt Fanny to make the needed improvements. We suspect there is an accumulation of ice and snow attached to our antennas. We are still working on plans to see what we can do as soon as possible.

Signals are improving as the weather provides clearing. This is causing service to improve. This issue may be fully resolved with the atmospheric changes that occur today.
